Virtual Coins & In-App Purchases Policy

1) What “Virtual Coins” are
Virtual Coins ("Coins") are digital credits used within our services to access features, content, or participation mechanics made available on SweepsKiwi.com. Coins are not money, have no monetary value, are not a stored-value account, and are not a bank or payment product.
- Non-transferable: you can’t sell, gift, barter, or transfer Coins.
- Non-redeemable: Coins can’t be exchanged for cash (or cash equivalents).
- No property right: Coins are a limited licence to use in-service features.
2) Buying Coins (pricing & what you receive)
Coin packs (and any taxes or fees) are shown at checkout before you confirm payment. When you purchase, you receive the number of Coins displayed for that offer and access to any associated in-service features, subject to our Terms and any eligibility limits.
Coins may be consumed when used and may be removed if credited in error, obtained through misuse, or where we must comply with law.
3) Subscriptions & auto-renewal (if offered)
If we offer a subscription that includes recurring Coin grants or benefits, we will clearly disclose the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and how to cancel before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. You can cancel through your account settings or by contacting us.
4) Billing descriptors
Charges may appear on your statement as “SWEEPSKIWI”, “SWEEPSKIWI.COM”, or a similar descriptor. If you don’t recognise a charge, contact us promptly.
5) Refunds, cancellations & NZ consumer rights
Because Coins are digital content delivered immediately, we generally don’t provide refunds for change of mind or unused Coins. However, this policy does not limit your rights under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. If a purchase is faulty, not as described, not delivered, or there has been an unauthorised transaction, contact us and we’ll assess and, where appropriate, provide a remedy (which may include a refund, replacement, or credit) consistent with applicable law and the payment provider’s rules.
6) Promotions & free Coin drops
We may offer promotional Coins (including daily free Coin drops) at our discretion and subject to published eligibility rules. Promotional Coins:
- have no monetary value and are not prizes in cash or cash-equivalent terms;
- may be limited, expire, or be withdrawn/changed at any time;
- may require account verification or activity limits to prevent abuse.
7) Account issues
Coins are tied to your account. If your account is suspended or closed for breach of our Terms, you may lose access to Coins and related benefits, where permitted by law.
